Every template starts from real experience of the SEND system in England, then is checked against current government and local council guidance before we publish it. We review templates on a regular schedule and update them when the rules or processes change, so what you download reflects how things work today.

Little Steps gives you practical guidance and a place to start, written by people who have walked this path. It is not legal advice and it is not a decision from a professional. For decisions about your own child, always rely on your council's SEND team, your child's school and the health professionals involved.

Our private community is moderated and follows clear guidelines. Members agree to be kind, to protect each other's privacy and never to present medical or legal opinions as fact. Anyone can report a post, and we review reports quickly so the space stays warm and safe for every parent.
